Do you have any idea of when the new standard will be finished? Even the most vaguest of rumours? Anything at all? :-) I am particularly eager to see the regex library become part of the standard library.

The standard is dubbed "C++0x" because it will hopefully be "done" before 2010. I think it will certainly be before that, but who knows when? IIRC, regular expressions are being added to the library. The committee is working on them now, so the design isn't final.
