hi the problems lies in the fact that some windows system provide a small buffer for in put and out put since ur apllication is swapaing a process the out put of the process is wrote into these buffer so it is hte responsiblity of the parent to read the out put of the child process if it dose not read it goes into deadlock .so the solution provided in cmd is that if we use cmd it will output something on the screen we are not reading it so now the process goes in to deadlock and the cmd hangs once u do control c on cmd the second process runs .Similary care should be taken to read the output of the child process or redirect it to some files. bye Replies: |
