Tabbing out from the Text Area.

Sir
I am using a JTextArea in my application.I have a problem.If I tab on entering the TextArea the cursor moves ahead by some spaces in the TextArea itself and doesn't come out of the TextArea.I want the focus to be removed from this TextArea and retained by the next component after that.
Please help me out as I am stuck in this matter.
