Problem with ServerSocket . ..... urgent

my Application allow multiple Client, but the problem is that after i call new ServerSocket(8080, 50), the 50 refer to the backlog and means that allow 50 client socket to wait in the queue if the serversocket havent call accept yet, but i found that the backlog is useless , it only can queue up to 6 sockets. SO please any 1 help. THANK
