Message:

How to detect when a client socket has closed?

Posted by Gavin Kingsley on August 13, 2000 at 5:59 PM

I am writing an application that can accept() client Sockets from a ServerSocket. How can I tell when my remote client has terminated the Socket connection? At the moment I am timing out on inactivity, but I would prefer to implement some form of EventListener.
