Rg: Java And Primitive DT

Posted by Sriram on February 14, 2001 at 5:51 AM

U should accept that java is a language. For any language there should be a base like interaction with hardware. When your program want interact with hardware it need some priliminary conversions and operations which you or me or anyone cannot chanage right now. So u need some thing like primitive datatypes, main function etc.
Now in order to justify java and oop you cannot say "NO" to it. It provides all the datatypes which are Objects and u might me knowing that every thing in java is being inherited by java.lang.Object.
Hope i am clear.
