Help on EJB !!

Dear sir,

I got an assignments to write EJB program and tried it writing code with BDK 1.1 SDK but it was giving problem. So,Could you pls. sugggest me how to start writing EJB code,I mean to say refering which SDK(say BDk) or any other SDK which could be available to download to facilitate writing EJB program ??
