Q : Why we need two interfaces such as Home Interface and Remote Interface in EJB. Why can't we use only Home interface.

Ans :

This is because the Specification of EJB by SUN says that way.
That is the Life cycle methods of a Bean has to be in Home Interface and others
i.e. Business Methods in Remote Interface.

Most of the Home Interface Methods are used by the Container.
