i guess u need to use the primitive Wrapper classes for that as Hastable expects Objects as keys and values.Infact you can use a Vector as well and keep the "integers" you decide as the index. But they need to follow a order. I mean the index cannot exceed the size() of the Vector at a given time.
Am not sure if i solved your problem.
