here what you do goto your c drive
goto program files
goto yahoo
goto messenger
goto stored ims
select all
delete

it will wipe out all of your past offline messages but hey it works and your free to keep yahoo without re installing it...
> Only thing i can think of is that u mite have a corrupt file in messenger..i could be wrong....have u tried to totally remove yahoo messenger and re-install it?including the yahoo folder in Program files...
