Webcam Problem in Yahoo Messenger

Posted by Mark on January 19, 2002 at 1:31 PM

Hi,

My webcam is a Logitech Clicksmart 510. It works using the software that came with it to make videos and also works using net meeting. When I try and invite someone to view my webcam in Yahoo Messenger, it replies "no webcam connected". I make sure that no other programs are open or using the webcam when I invite someone. I also downloaded internet explorer 6.0 for Yahoo, thinking that it would be compaitble with webcams.

In addition, when I click on preferences in Yahoo Messenger, there is a drag down list to select camera. The box is always empty. I am expecting it to have the "Logitech Clicksmart 510" listed there.

What can I do?

Thank you.
