RewriteMap and HttpSession with Tomcat

Hi all!

I have a problem with HttpSession when I use rewrite rules in
the Apache httpd.conf file.
When the Apache reads the new url and passes to the Tomcat
it always starts a new session. So I lose the session information.
It works well with JServ but something goes wrong with Tomcat.
Is there any method to keep the old session?
