Tracking the same point in another window which was zoomed in one window.

Hi ,
I am developing a java 2d application in which a uswr can see the 2d images and can zoom,translate the iimages as well.I am able to do that but one more thing which is required is that while the user is zooming any particular point of the image using mouse he can track the same point in another window,so that the user is able to keep a check that which part is being zoomed.I am not able to do so.
so please help me if any body have any idea or some code or some url of any site where i can get this help.
