Message: Connection reset by peer

Posted by sankar on March 23, 2001 at 5:10 AM

I face the following exception " Connection reset by peer" .I don't know the exact reason. But i found that if data transfer happens only from a client to server above exception is thrown(i.e. using outputstream class in client and inputstream class in server). But if i have a data transfer from client to server and also vice versa exception is not thrown(i.e using output and input stream classes in client and also in server).
