Refreshing the page

I am using Visual Age for Java... After i press a submit button on my page, my page does not get refreshed with new data. However the data is retrieved from the database. When i single-step through the program, then it gets refreshed with data displayed.

In case i dont single-step it and run it straight, then after clicking on the submit button a lot of times, the page sometimes gets refreshed with the data being displayed.

Kindly let me know as to what the problem might be,
