Design Issue

Posted by Vinay on November 28, 2000 at 10:02 AM

Hi,
We have a set of backend operations which need to run without any manual intervention. Each process would be updating around 5-7 tables and would typically be run at a freq of 15 min. or so. The no. of records updated by each process in each run could vary between 50 - 100.
For this solution, we would like to find out which of the following approaches are best suitable for development and why.
1.Session Bean-Entity Bean-Database
2.Session Bean- Stored Procedure-database
3.Session Bean-database
Would appreciate an early response.
