If you're only interested in getting it to work on Windows, you can do it with the Java Media Framework 2.1.1. Make sure you get the Windows Performance Pack version. See the FAQ for more details. However, this will only work on Windows, and on top of that is an unsupported feature. Plus, there's a pretty steep learning curve for JMF. Best of luck!
