make a connection from a dbase in Microsoft Access to Java

Hello,i'm writing from Portugal and I have a seriously problem.
Somo people order me a small project in Java that consists in a Java Applet that makes connection with a dBase(made with Microsoft Access).I already made a similiar project to this but using Sybase dBase.Can you tell me how to work with Microsoft Access dBase and Java?If you already make a similiar connection can you send it me?
