Message:

Is it possible to get the http adress (the user used) into a string?

Posted by Matthias Buyken on October 16, 2000 at 7:53 AM

(please oversee my bad english)

The use of that would be, to initialise the applet according to
the place from which the user reached for the site.
By adding some #something to the httpaddress for the
different sites.

I am programing a map which shows the location of some
places that have http adresses. You can reach the map
from these places. And the map should be initialized in a way
that it shows the information for the place from which you
came. Is there a way to do that?

best reagards
