good day gentlemen ^_^ now there's a slight problem i'm trying to solve. i was asked to write an application that could keep track of what numbers a phone calls. and not just one phone, it's 10 phones in the room, each individually connected to 10 different lines out the room. one solution that i found out, is either to buy an already finished hardware that can do this, or build a hardware myself, that all this 10 phones and 10 lines will be connected to, with a serial output to the PC (so that the PC can keep track of where it called and the duration). is there another solution that u guys can advise me on, that doesn't require me to build a hardware myself (i hate hardware stuffs :p)? is there any already-finished-solution that u guys saw before? ^_^ do post anything u think, even if u don't have an idea of what this gibberish stuff i'm talking about :p. this could be a good business idea for u guys too. i mean, well, perhaps i've been stuck at this country for so long that i haven't seen or heard of any equipments like this.. but a step closer to solving this problem would mean that there will be an easier solution (that building complex hardwares and writing PROMs/EEPROMs) to solving the brawls college student/university students sharing apartments often have, arguing about who made different calls to different local charges that couldn't be traced. i don't know about other countries, but in my country, they don't include the duration of time and the number called for local calls. they only do that for out-station calls (out of state calls).
