Cut/Copy - Paste from Word or any other Editor to a Web Page

Hello Friends

I have to cut/copy-paste text from say Word or any other similar tool onto a Web Page (preferably a Java Applet). The important thing is that I have to maintain the Formatting of the text even on the Applet/page, like Bold, Italics, Underline, Tab, Carriage Return etc.

How do I go about doing this? Do you know of any such existing Applet(s) on the net which I can inherit and use?

A quick answer/ solution will be highly appreciated.
