applet and classpath

first...how do i set the classpath. i am on a windows platform and using jdk1.2.

how do i set this from a file.

i have read that if the applet is loaded from the classpath it is considered as trusted.

another problem is using udp between an applet and a server.
i can't seem to retrieve any information above 11 bytes....

but if the client side is an application i have no problem
