Basic Setup

Hi, I've bought the book (which is excellent!) but I'm getting stuck on the basic setup of the JavaSpaces Toolkit. Are the classes that are referred to in the import statements of the example code in the lib directory in a jar file? If so, how do I set up the compile command for my code? If I'm developing a parallel distributed process, do I really need Jini, or can I bypass it and concentrate on JavaSpaces?
