Learn how you can perform a hard reset on the T-Mobile G1.

If your device is not working correctly then you could perform a hard reset. Here's how:

Note: following the below steps will cause your device to lose data. Make sure you have backup them up first if you want to use it later on.

1. First Turn off the G1 by pressing the Power button.

2. Next, hold the Home + End keys for 20 seconds, shortly you should see a G1 logo.

3. Then use the QWERTY keyboard and press Alt+W key.

Your device should now restored back to the factory setting.
