I just saw the new Startrek movie trailer (trailer #3) and it got me thinking... why is it that Whedon has this big following that's upset with him over Dollhouse (Okay, Dr. Horrible was fantastic). What really got me thinking was.. why am I not more of a fan of JJ Abrams?

I loved Alias, watched it with my sister all the time. I love LOST despite it going soft in the middle (it's stronger now than ever) and I love Fringe... and this new Startrek movie looks fantastic.

I really enjoyed Cloverfield and the music in all of these shows is brilliant, the cinematography is top notch, the production values very high in all of them.

So... I give up, sorry Whedon, Abrams outclasses you.
