Right now we're waiting on me to get a new editor assigned not on Greg to write, but yes I do think Monadic Design Patterns will need to be different from FP in Scala to be relevant. The MDP approach was always different from FP in Scala. MDP applies functional programming techniques to a common, well-understood problem domain of web app development. So takes the new, unfamiliar concepts and explains them in terms of a familiar application domain.
We're very happy to give refunds to anyone who would like one since this has been such a long process. Just email me at bill AT artima.com and we'll take care of you.
Does this mean the book is completed and proof reading phase. I watched Greg's lectures on Monads and they quite revealing. Hence wanted to buy the book. Is there a time frame for getting this released
you have offered me a refund for the book cca. 2 years ago in this forum. I've decided to wait longer in the hope that the book will still be published.
But now, almost 3 years since my purchase and with no news in the book forums, I've reached a limit of my patience and optimism and therefore would like to ask you for a full refund.
I have send you the bank account number to transfer to per email.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
=Dušan
