Javascript on the server AND the client is not a big deal
All the cool kids love Node.js. I’ve used it a little, and it’s fine; I was able to do what I wanted to do, and it wasn’t particularly painful. Open Source SourceForge
It’s been a crazy, hectic, inspiring week for me. I had 3 talks at PyCon, travel, and the open sourcing of SourceForge.net’s new developer platform. The new tools, based on TurboGears, Python, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and too many other python libraries to count, have been a labor of love for many of our developers. Change at [...]

PyCON 2011 Day 1
I reached here in Atlanta with my ZeOmega colleagues on March 8th evening. ZeOmega is a Gold sponsor this time ! (from 2003 onwards ZeOmega was a silver sponsor). I’ve been busy around the Internets this week; most of this centres around collectd; monitoring tool extraordinaire. I’ve gotten to know collectd’s very pleasant source code, and contributed some new functionality (which non-coincidentally work benefits from). You can use this to have threshold notifications constantly report their status...

Gabriel finally decided that he’d had enough of his perfectly normal body and wanted to kick things up, which meant supplements, specifically a huge tub of some granulated masculizer ostensibly flavored like Chocolate, but with a backbone of ready-mix concrete serrated by a distinctive quartz tang. He mixed his vitality elixir in one of those...
