Tonight is the XML Derby at the XML Austin Users Group. I'll be
giving a 15 minute demo of the XML tags in JSTL. Most of our JSTL
work has revolved around the core and format tags. I've never touched
the database tags (and don't plan to) and although I've played with
the XML tags, I've not used them in a real project.
I can speak well to the technical side of the XML tags, but I'm
sure people will ask about performance and manageability of
applications that use the JSTL XML tags. The core tags were a huge
win for us, but it's less clear what to expect from the XML tags.
They certainly look nice, but I've got no real data yet. I would love
to hear from anyone who has used the XML tags in a real application.
Anyone?
