I’ve just been stopped by the booze bus and breathtested. No worries at all as I hadn’t had a drink and I really wouldn’t drive if I had. The police were remarkably thorough in stopping and testing every single car that went down the beach road. I was very impressed.
Two minutes later the smug smile had left my lips as I spotted, in my rear view mirror, the flashing lights of a high pursuit vehicle trying to get my attention. I pulled over and was told by the chasing officer that my vehicle registration had expired three days ago and that there’ll be a letter in the post for me.
Bugger!
