It seems appropriate at this time of year to think about others who might be grateful for a helping hand so it's worth mentioning a Java tweet I saw the other day about Java Users helping through Kiva. The Java users around the world Kiva Lending Team are helping low-income entrepreneurs in other countries through the use of small loans in Kiva's bid to alleviate poverty. As they say "Regardless of your knowledge of Java your welcome to join this lending team".
