I had to get the foul taste of Hellboy II out of my mouth, so I went and saw The Dark Night today.

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Heath Ledger gave a fantastic performance, and it's a shame he's gone now. The story was good, the acting was good, and they didn't get wrapped up in trying to explain the origins of the Joker.

Puts the Burton/Nicholson version to shame, really.

In other news, this movie must have just barely missed an R rating. I have no idea what these idiot parents were doing bringing in their 7 year old kids. It is definitely NOT for little kids.
