- Upsides: Tech hub, food, lots of programmers there. Japanese culture. Near Vancouver. Obscure relatives.
- Downsides: Rain. Near Vancouver.
* San Diego:
- Upsides: Tech hub, lots of programmers, great weather, near the Mexican border.
- Downsides: Taxes, near the Mexican border.
* Austin:
- Upsides: Tech hub, University town (translate as: pretty girls), great music, old college roommate and friend lives there.
- Downsides: Texas, Bush family, hot.
