Glen Stampoulitzis has a great post on 6 months in an agile software development company. One interesting fact he notes is that there were a good number of meetings, which has mostly been the case in the agile projects I've worked. He also reports that a well-trained business analyst was invaluable, even on an agile project. And the company also created a study group. What an awesome idea!

Glen also has an excellent, step-by-step refactoring example (PDF, 113k).
