Funny that at the "Future of Web apps" conference in London that the presenters, delegates and sponsors couldnt get a reliable internet connection and when it was up it was dead slow.

However the Microsoft software+services demos (e.g. British Library Turning the Pages) with fat clients / thin connections worked well.

The Future of Web apps conclusion ... Web-only apps don't have a future.
