Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS), with the Department of Defense (DoD) 5015.2 Resource Kit applied, has been successfully tested against the DoD 5015.2 records management standard. When choosing a records management solution, many companies and other organizations in highly-regulated industries will only consider a DoD 5015.2 certified solution.
Partners wishing to deliver DoD 5015.2 solutions to their customers can now download the DoD 5015.2 Resource Kit Source Code.
For partners and customers that would like to evaluate the DoD 5015.2 Resource Kit, an installable evaluation version is pending. Sample code for the most frequently requested features within the DoD 5015.2 Resource Kit will also be made available shortly, enabling partners to enhance the records management functionality of SharePoint 2007 for customers not required to run in a DoD 5015.2 certified state.
