I had dinner with several St. Louis .NET influencers including my friend and fellow RD, Bill Evjen. Bill is a recognized author and is currently working on a Whidbey ASP.NET book for Wiley
Then today, I noticed that he has a new ASP.NET article on MSDN. It is an excellent text on how to use JavaScript with ASP.NET. I did learn a couple of facts from it:
- How to have RegisterStartupScript and RegisterClientScriptBlock show up in Intellisense
- How to store my JavaScript functions in a JS file and have it downloaded to the client via code-behind.
Bill was also kind enough to allow me to do his DevDays keynote in St. Louis yesterday while he was attending to employer's business his Miami. He has such a tough life...
