“Personally, blogging comes very, very close to fulfilling one of the many dreams that folks had when WWW hit the scene. That "everyone would or could be an author or a publisher in their own right". Well, that dream really has only begun to materialize thanks to blogging and the tools that support the easy "production" or "publication" of content (Blogging tools and Blogging engines) and the tools that make it easier to "mine" or "consume" the information produced (like the many News Aggregators). So, I find it really hard to fathom that there are IT professionals (pretty sincere ones too, as I might hastily add) who apparently have no clue what it is.“
