I've always liked the Solution View in VS.NET. It allows me to see all of the individual projects within an enterprise solution in a nested view. Like most people, I like to create a blank solution and then add projects one at a time.
Along came Whidbey, and it looked like the Solution View was gone. As soon as I created a project, the top-level Solution went missing. No more right-mouse click on the solution to add a new project or manipulate the solution itself.
I was able to find out that there's a new option setting that masks the solution from view. To turn it back on, go to Tools->Options and select the Solution tree icon. Then select the "Always Vew Solution" checkbox (which is is cleared during a default install). Viola! Solution view restored.
