[Found via Christa Carpentiere] Ken - PSS escalation engineer for SQL Server and general SQL guru - has started blogging. You can check out his first post (on issues surrounding the use of lightweight pooling mode) at http://weblogs.asp.net/khen1234.
If you do anything with SQL Server 2000 and don't know who Ken Henderson is, shame on you! His book The Guru's Guide to SQL Server Architecture and Internals (among his other excellent Transact SQL and Stored Procedure books) is my all-time favorite book on the deep internal core understandings of SQL Server. Ken is not only a great writer, but he also has a very thorough approach to writing robust software, database related or not. You owe yourself a look at these resources; or at the very least, subscribe to his blog. Subscribed!
