So the problem of one week ago with TFS in VPCs was really bothering me. I was starting to devise a clever post on the Top Ten Things to Do When TFS is Creating Your TFS Project but decided instead to go buy another 1GB of memory for my Toshiba Satellite P25-S609. The kicker is that although it takes up to 2 GB of memory, it has only two slots, both occupied by a 512 MB RAM chip. So I had to buy two 1 GB DDR 400 memory chips at $300 each and now I have two 512's sitting around. So the people at Microsoft and the people that attend my Code Camp III session (eXtreme.NET Part 2) where I use TFS/VSTS with the two VMs next Saturday better be very, very grateful.... On the plus side, with the App Tier at 900 MB and the Data Tier at 600 MB, TFS is more than usable with VPC. It actually performs quite well! I have started to look at the MSF Agile team template and it's pretty impressive. The guidance pages are real nice and I know will help many people. I'm going to reserve my judgment on just how “agile” MSF Agile is until I have investigated it much more.
