I was goofing around with some of the examples I've seen floating around the Internet on various ways to upload files to a remote web server using the HTTP POST method. The reason being that I've seen a lot of questions on the ASP.NET board lately about not being able to get it to work correctly. So, I thought I'd add my 2 cents worth in the...

For the 2nd straight year, the Miami Dolphins missed the NFL playoffs (the last time being the 88-89 seasons). This team had arguably the best personnel on paper, but was beaten badly by almost every team with a winning record, and was also humiliated by Houston at home in the season opener. What's next for the Dolphins? Unless it's a complete...

Well, I've worked with the new Mac OS X battery update for my 12" iBook for 2 days now (see earlier post), and I've experienced NO ADDITIONAL BATTERY LIFE. My max life using the "optimized for battery usage" settings is still around the 2:00 range on a full charge. This is one of my major complaints with my iBook - which is otherwise a great...

There's a new battery update available for Mac OS X 10.2 (or later users) that will hopefully increase the battery life for iBooks & PowerBooks. Personally, I only get a little over 2:00 with my 12" iBook, and I've got all the energy savings settings enabled. I'll post a follow-up to let you know if there's an improvement.

I was digging through my source code folders yesterday and found this add-in given to me by Microsoft when I was on the original VS.NET JDP team back in 2000. This is an add-in tool that provides the same XML-based documentation functionality that was provided with C# at the time. I called my contacts at Microsoft, and they said it was OK to give...

OK, now that Saddam's been captured, the real question is what do we do with him? Thoughts?
