tanx for the tip.. i really needed that..anyway,what i did before was create a batch file with the line javac urfile and java urfile and i run it with runtime.exec()....it worked but it hampers the runtime...thanks anyway....

hello..i really need help..could anyone show me a sample code wherein i could run msdos programs in my java application like if i want to run javacor java to compile or execute another java file while im running my application...i know how to open win32 applications using Runtime.exec() but i cant run msdos commands eith it...please...
