OK, I'm sick of only having the client pieces of VSTS. I also need to have the full thing running for Code Camp III and other INETA presentations, not to mention that it's all cool. I had tried to do this before with three VPC images hosted on this Toshiba laptop and didn't get too far. Looking again at Paul's post  I think the key here is...

I haven't been able to post any real follow-up for my VSLive! experience due to a combination of working hard all week trying to push something into QA that I have been working on 2-3 months (it's gonna be big!) and getting my daughter's viral whatever it is she had. So now that all my fellow C# Track speakers are posting, I feel like I am...

So when Scott, who I trust a lot on this sort of thing, listed CodeRush instead of Resharper (my #1 tool) on his list of Ultimate VS.NET Add-Ins, I still challenged him on it because of the awesome Refactoring support and more (the comment doesn't seem to be there anymore) and he said “I didn't include Resharper because CodeRush's...

SBC let me know that the group is a new group affialiated with INETA and not with the COOUG (www.cooug.org) as was the prior CT .NET organization (ctmsdev.net). They have a new website (www.ctdotnet.com  - a DNN-based site!) and are rolling out .NET-related events (since Oct ’04).

I am sitting in my hotel room with one computer doing a full checked Rotor build and another next to it trying to get a whole bunch of work files from VSS via VPN. You know VSS really sucks over VPN or any other mechanism other than a direct LAN connection. Yes, I know about Source Offsite but we don't have it. I can't wait to do away with the...

My Advanced CLR talk at VSLive! went extremely well. I think it was well attended for a 5:45 PM talk - probably around 50-60 people? I am really looking forward to tomorrow's Advanced COM Interop in the better 11:45 slot.

Our New England Patriots cemented their place as a football dynasty today.Belichick guided the Patriots to a 24-21 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, earning his third Super Bowl title in four years and improving his career playoff record to 10-1. That surpassed Lombardi for the best postseason coaching mark in NFL history. We...

Thanks to Gordon and Scott for discovering keyboard bindings for the world's most awesome tool, TestDriven.NET. Who knows how many times I right-clicked “Run Tests” and “Test With Debugger” in the last few months. Heck, in the first two hours of work alone, I have done it dozens of times. This saves all these keystrokes!...

As fellow C# track VSLive speaker, Jimmy Nilsson states “VSLive! - The Heat is On.” Our Advanced C# track is first rate and is going to rock! Also, as Jimmy states it looks like Indigo will be unveiled to the general public for the first time here with the extensive Indigo program. I may even get to speak about it now...

I have gotten permission from Fawcette to dry run one of my two VSLive! presentations (with different slide template, etc), the Advanced COM Interop with C# at the next meeting of Beantown.NET, which is February 3rd at 5:30 PM. I have tried to go much more code intensive in this one versus theory so if you saw this a few years ago, its way...
