The night after Tech-Ed Israel, Yosi Taguri arranged for a small dinner with a few MVPs and friends. Among the guests were Dino Esposito, Shy Cohen - PM on the Indigo team, and Hans Verbeek - Tech evangelist for SQL and Yukon. It was a lot of fun. I posted pics from the dinner at my photo blog. I got to talking with Shy Cohen a little bit...

I'm going to move the expected date of the TDD workshop to next week (16-20th) because of time limitations. Moving to a new apartment while working full time is challenging enough as it is :) I'll also be emailing those who registered personally. The good news is that already more than 20 people have signed on for the workshop, which is pretty...

Test Driven Development is great. No, scratch that. TDD is life saving. But it's still young. Yes, event though it was being implemented more than a decade ago, it's still in its infancy stages. There's lots of FUD(fear, uncertainty, doubt) going on around it, but those that “get” it truly become what is now commonly known as...

I must have missed this somehow, but Eric lippert writes about the dangerous and time consuming phenomenon called “Comment Rot”. I suggest you read it. I could not have said it better myself.

Tech-ed was fun. I had a blast. I've already started posting some of the pics I took on my photo blog. Lots to write about but I'm really tired so I'll be writing the information in multiple posts over some length of time. In other news - another Israeli .Net Blogger found: Anatoly Lubarsky. A few points I want to write about: Dino...

Tomorrow morning I'm leaving for Tech-Ed Israel in Eilat. Will be there for 3 days. I hope I get the chance to blog from there, but if I don't you should know why - I don't own a laptop. Go figure. If you're looking for me, you can look for something that looks like this: (click to see a bigger Roy) Yet. That's me, after a haircut. Just add...

Another Israeli blogger joins the bunch: Ido Samuelson. DotNetJunkies is starting to look like .NetWeblogs at the beginning. Lots of good people writing about new stuff and excited about blogging about it. Coolness :) (I'm not saying .NetWeblogs isn't like that anymore, just that there is a lot more noise lately)

I've updated my current book of the month and the list of book recommendations. I've also added a “recommended books“ category to my blog, for future reference. I'd love to hear your book recommendations. Book of the month for this month is the one that didn't make it last month(hence I'll recycle my post from last month about...

This might be a good idea to know if you're a judge on the Add-in contest: --------------------- I installed some Visual Studio.Net 2003 plug-ins a while back. Didn't find them very useful so I decided to uninstall. Oh sh!te... All of the sudden when I try and add a new Windows Form Class, I get an “Could not run the ".....vsz"...

Many developers have had to write a loop that writes out a comma separated value list. There's always the trick of how you make that last comma get removed from the end of that string. Usually, at the end of the loop, many developers will do something like this to remove the last char in the string: out = out.Substring( 0, out.LastIndexOf(...
