Oh. and speaking of an amazing video, I really need to learn how to fold my shirts. Sounds boring, but just watch the video.

I've had one report of someone not being able to download the latest version of The Regulator from sourceforge. It puts out a “file not found“ message for some reason. I just tried it myself and it seems to work great. Anyone else encoutered this or has any idea why this is happening?

Its the Beta before version 3.1, and I'm still not sure about everything that's new in it, but the site is reporting that this version fixes all the bugs in the earlier version. Download here as for a provider implementation for ODP.Net - there seems to be one in the site's forum for Oracle.Net, but not for ODP (these are 2 different Oracle...

Ooh, Omer has a nice question about Code Readability and expressing double negation in seriously harsh conditions (no outside function allowed). go take a side.

Steven explains a concept I haven't thought about before - the UI Singleton pattern. Nice concept. Yeah, I can admit that I've done my share of “Expose this control of the form as a Public Static member” Sorry. Steven's approach is so much simpler. Definitely something to think about

Addy is showing off his desktop space. Heh. I like this comment on that picture: “Pull down the matrix poster. That's so five years ago. “ He also links to some words of wisdom on the recent past. Gawd, that is one nasty poster, yet extremely funny.

I just discovered Chasey Chesnut's blog. Pretty funny guy, CF MVP that has some nice info. Plus, he has a funny name ;) The weird thing - his blog site is actually fun to read online rather than through an aggregator. I think its the whole tree thing... makes it looks rather cutsy!

Phew. Yesterday I gave a whole day about ADO.Net to a group of fine young people, and today I gave about an hour more about ADO.Net best practices. Boy am I tired. I found out that after about 3 hours of speaking my voice starts to fade. Obviously I'm not speaking correctly. I know that there are techniques that allow you to speak a lot and not...

Chris Fralic sends us a pointer to the Product Quick Links page of the Five Star Billiards, Inc. website. This page lists hundreds of products in no discernable order. It should definitely not be called the "Quick Links" page. Chris adds, "It's almost a thing of beauty - there are patterns emerging in this sea of links..." [via This is Broken]...

Steve Eichert reviews the book “TDD with .Net” , and seems to really like it. He also made something that I really appreciate - he wrote down a list of bullet points while reading the book, and then posted it. Even from such small points, you can still learn a lot, specifically about testing ADO.Net and web services. Great Job Steve...

Omer has posted a set of articles regarding the Code DOM (the set of classes that allow you to dynamically write and generate code on the fly using the .Net framework for the .Net framework) Some good stuff in there. I got the chance to read the original Hebrew article and learned a lot. Omer has also helped me write one of the plugins for the...

“It'a hapenning in Israel, next week. I will be giving a talk (pure philosophical one) on Indigo. If you are somehow connected to the academic world, you are welcome to join. the price is 200 nis which are almost 50$ for a 2 day conference and a night stay at a 5 stars hotel. Did I mention this is an MSR conference...” [Yosi...

Joy. I got for Passover (a.k.a The Jewish Christmas) from my boss a webcam. It's the third one we got. Luckily, it came with an exchange coupon, and behold, the coupon was just right for me to replace it with a CD/MP3 diskman. My current transportation does not contain a disk player built in, hence - I was happy. I also got one of those adapters...
