I am just finishing up watching an Incubus interview from their website. They just picked up a new member from the band "The Roots" so they may have a new sound now. Here is some info on a project to overlay the open source quake code on to real life. I commend these guys for doing it, but it will be quite a while before it becomes something immersive.
