Sounds great, but unfortunately I'm working ona large scale system. One of the warning,notification UI modules has been coded witha JOptionPane, I would like to extend itsfunctionality with out introducing new classesand making the code extremely bulky and downthe road probably hard to maintain.Tx for the response though.Spike

Actually its OK, using HTML tags works on JPanels,(besides you can always use setForeground)what I actually wanted was manipulation of fonts in a JOptionPane.Any ideas?Tx in advance.Kondwani

Give me a clue on how I can set the Font for one word on a Panel and the next word appearing in a different font/fontcolor in the same panel.E.g. From an HTML perspective:Please click hereI want this in a JPanel though.Please give me steps towards how to find the solution.I'll run a Google, though I doubt I'll find anything.Tx in advance.

Google an Oracle JDBC driver (probably availableas a downloadable jar on the Oracle site),download it and include it in your class path.If you need help with that specify what OSyou're running and where your JAVA_HOME isinstalled.

What does that have to do with taking twominutes to indent your code and stickingin the appropriate pre tags to make yourcode a little more legible.If we are able to take 5 minutes to readyour post, you should surely be able totake two to ensure that your post is presentable and some what legible.

BTW just out of curiosity, could you please postyour exact error. Are you sure the argumentssupplied were legal. Maybe your JBuilder usesJava 4 hence was not as fussy. Sounds like aproblem that would arise in a C++ program as aresult of pointers (just thinking aloud though).Please post the error, coz I'm also keen to knowwhat address violations...
