Rest in peace, Eddie Guerrero.  As a fan of WWE wrestling, I’m very saddened by the loss of one of its greatest entertainers.  View the press conference given Sunday afternoon by Vince McMahon and Chavo Guerrero. Eddie Guerrero Official Website

We all know that Visual Studio, Sql Server and BizTalk were all released in a big product launch yesterday.  But did you know that the new Enterprise Library 2.0 November CTP was also released yesterday?  If you have your RTM bits of you dev and server products, be sure and get the latest Enterprise Library as well.

As we all know, the big product launch party/event/whatever is happening in San Francisco today.  Here is a friend of mine, also president of my fan club, who is attending.  I sure hope he doesn’t get beat up wearing this T-Shirt to the event.

I was working on some code to parse some data for a friend, and had to write this little piece of code that some of you might find useful.  Right now, you can just take this, pop it into query analyzer and run it.  Its simple enough to change this to a function that accepts the string, plus a delimeter value, such as: CREATE FUNCTION...

Erik Porter has accepted a position at Microsoft on the Evangelism team for Channel9, Microsoft Gadgets, etc. Erik is a co-author of a couple of VB.Net books, a VB.Net MVP, an ASPInsider, VP of his local user group, a great idea man and a good friend in general.  Oddly enough though, he currently lives in a steel mill and has no idea who...
