I found A LOW cost code hosting plan for startups. Unfuddle has a free plan to host code via svn and git and has tracking and project dash board. The limits of the free plan are 100 megabytes and one active project. Thus, some Android developers may find it useful.

Part of the challenge of building a Loopt clone for Android is improving the feature set. Well what happens if 3g goes out for a little bit? You will stil want to pull up the GPS enabled map with some previous data. Unlike other map solutions Google Maps does have a download map feature and Android happens to have this nice SQLite3 database...
