With the release of Android SDK 1.0 none of the previous TDD frameworks now work and I am at the progress point with my js Deliver bridge to need a build framework that integrates with the new test/mock stuff that Google added to Android SDK 1.0. About the only Android specific ANT jar that work sat the moment is the autoandroidlib one. I do...

Basically, when Google coded their GMail Android Application the used WebView and javascript bridge to allow the app developer to grab events and etc via javascript calls. But this code is not out in the wild and thus I have to hand roll my own. One of the questions that has come up is do I want grab Activity Events. That would sort of be two...

Many not os successful microlobgging entities are attempting to cash in on Android by coming up with these oh we can do the successful microblogging feature in our client too type Android Applications. For example I know an entity that is attempting to hire a developer to do FriendFeed features bolted on to their Android Client. That problem...

Evidently, GoogeGears plugin is not accessible via Android WebView. Thus, the features that you might need as far as LBS have to be native classes and bridged by some javascript or even beanshell functionality.

From what I can figure out each activity class using a webview should be able to integrate as a menu item. Its just a process of choosing which way to do that menu UI as native or as web based and etc.

What if you could do a mobile LBS mashup with no server infrastructure requirements but using someone's API? That is right the ultimate LBS industry disruption finally setting LBS free on mobile! No more mobile operator imprisoned applications. Certainly not just one is possible but maybe hundreds. So why none of these applications in Google's...

Yes I am probably developing an Android Application. I probably already have my first VC promising to be ready to see a demo. I could not believe how easy that was, all I had to do was ask. Imagine that, its the bleakest economic times for start ups and I get a VC demo meeting just by asking for one.
